Toskovat samples and discovery set
Most Toskovat perfumes can be tried as a 2 ml or 5 ml sample before you commit to the 60 ml bottle; a few, such as Pornstar (Noyau Doux) and Amaretto In The Melting Room, are offered as 2 ml samples only. Every sample is hand-decanted from an original bottle, so it arrives in a plain vial rather than in the house's own packaging.
The simplest way in is the Toskovat Discovery Set (8 Samples), which gathers Age of Innocence, Anarchist A, Annacamento, Empty Wishes Well, Pornstar, Amaretto in the Melting Room, Inexcusable Evil and Last Birthday Cake. For a smaller start, the Toskovat Discovery Set Mini (4 Samples) holds Born Screaming, Inexcusable Evil, Last Birthday Cake and Pornstar. Both sets can be ordered with 2 ml or 5 ml samples.
Where to start with Toskovat
- Inexcusable Evil – gunpowder and ozone lead into a clinical heart of blood, bandages and iodine with burning flowers, before fallen concrete, rain, incense and sandalwood take over.
- Last Birthday Cake – a dessert scent with a dark edge: cocoa, milk and malt, then Armagnac, stollen cake, brown sugar and vanilla custard over styrax, incense and tolu balsam.
- Born Screaming – cherry, blackberry and energy drink collide with latex and a popped balloon, while smoke, rose and datura lead into myrrh, patchouli and castoreum.
- Anarchist A – whiskey and snow meet ink and candle wax, resting on green sacra resin, holy water and an old confession room.
The Toskovat style
Across the line-up, perfumery materials such as oud, vetiver, myrrh and sandalwood sit next to notes nobody could bottle literally, from credit cards and a DVD case to Chekhov's gun and a rusty coin thrown into a well. They describe a scene rather than an ingredient. Many compositions also set sweet against dark, as with bubblegum and cotton candy over gasoline and car seats in Age of Innocence.

We are an official Toskovat retailer, and every full bottle comes to us directly from the house. Our samples are decanted by hand from those same bottles.
