Cave's take
Annacamento begins in sunshine: orange, blood orange, prickly pear and verbena, juicy and bright. The heart is a pastry counter with flowers, where ricotta, crêpes, raisins and rum sit alongside frangipani, broom and dryad's dust. Cedar wood, oak wood, cypress, mastic, rock rose, poplar buds and sea fennel take it into dry wood with a coastal, herbal edge. The whole thing looks back at a Tyrrhenian summer with nostalgia.
Samples come in 2 ml and 5 ml, hand-decanted from the original bottle, and the bottle is 60 ml. The Toskovat Discovery Set offers another route into the house.
If you like the orange and broom, Zoologist Bee pairs them with orange flower, mimosa and vanilla. For the rum and dried fruit, Adi ale Van Bufet combines rum with dry fruits, red wine and tobacco.
