Cave's take

Rather than a pyramid, Leaves in the wind comes as one long list of notes, and together they read as smoke, leather and spice. Black pepper, cannella, fennel seeds and tobacco bring the spice, with lavender and magnolia alongside. Oud, smoky notes, a leather accord, betulla and olibanum incense give it a dark body, while civet, castoreum, musk, ambrinol, amber, labdanum, patchouli and vetiver add an animalic, resinous depth, finished with dust. It tells the story of anti-communist partisans in the Carpathian mountains, and 60 per cent of its ingredients are natural.

It is available as a 2 ml sample, hand-decanted from the original bottle, and as a 50 ml bottle.

If you like the amber, civet, oud and incense, Zoologist Camel shares all four. Spiritica Lynch aka Smoked Styrax has the tobacco, oud and patchouli.

A new perfume, a new story, about the groups of partisans, anti-communist fighters from the Carpathian mountains from the late 1940s until the 1960s. Years in which they were continuously pursued by the security forces, the militia and even the army.
A story of suffering in communist prisons and their oppression.
This story is just a small file from the recent unkown history of romanian anticomunist fighters, the real patriots.
