What data we collect
- When you place an order: name, address, email, phone number and order details.
- When you pay: payments are handled by our payment providers. We do not see or store your card details.
- When you sign up for our newsletter: your email address.
- When you visit the website: IP address, device and browser information, and how you use the site (through cookies, see below).

Who we share your data with
We never sell your data. We share it only with trusted partners who help us run the shop, and only as much as they need:
- Shopify – our webshop platform
- Payment providers – Shopify Payments, Klarna, PayPal and MobilePay
- DHL – to deliver your order
- Shipmondo – to create shipping labels
- Klaviyo – to send our newsletter
- Google – website statistics and advertising (only with your consent)
Some of these partners, such as Shopify, Klaviyo and Google, may process data outside the EU, including in the USA. In those cases, the transfer is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep your data
- Order and accounting data: 5 years from the end of the financial year, as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act.
- Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
- Cookies: see the cookie banner for the lifetime of each cookie.
How we protect your data
All data is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only the owner and staff of Cave Parfumerie have access to your data, and only when needed for their work.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- see the data we hold about you
- have incorrect data corrected
- have your data deleted, unless we are required to keep it by law
- restrict or object to how we use your data
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw your consent at any time
